Brazilian power utility Companhia Paranaense de Energia (Copel) approved a BRL1.97 billion (US$520 million) investment plan for 2019, the firm said in a securities filing.



During a recent meeting of the Private Power and Infrastructure Board of Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy, Minister for Power Omar Ayub Khan stated that all new power generation projects should be based on indigenous resources.
