According to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s U.S. Solar Photovoltaic System Cost Benchmark—Q1 2017 report:
- The 2017 per Watt DC Residential PV (5.7 kW) cost is $2.80—compared with $7.24 in 2010.
- The 2017 per Watt DC Commercial PV (200 kW) cost is $1.85—compared with $5.36 in 2010.
- The 2017 per Watt DC Utility-scale PV Fixed Tilt (100 MW) cost is $1.03—compared with $4.57 in 2010.
- The 2017 per Watt DC Utility-scale PV One-axis Tracker (100 MW) cost is $1.11—compared with $5.44 in 2010.
